Humana Renews NetPark Lease

Humana Medical Plan Inc. renewed its 170,000-square-foot lease, which has a value of $18.5 million, at NetPark in Tampa.

It’s one of the largest lease renewals this year in Hillsborough County.

Humana was represented by Colliers Arnold broker Jeff Tolrud, a managing director at the real estate services firm.

NetPark, located at 5701 E. Hillsborough Ave., is owned by Triple Net Properties, a Grubb & Ellis company.

Humana employs 1,000 people at its call center at NetPark, a former regional mall, Tolrud said. The company has had space at NetPark since 2005.

The building features an onsite childcare center, corporate dining facility, a teleconferencing center, a corporate conference/presentation room with auditorium seating across a full-size stage, a fitness center, 24-hour security and after-hours card reader access to main building entries.
