Whitney National Bank announced it has named four local leaders to its Hillsborough County Advisory Board. The four men are Roy J. McCraw, Jr., Cecil Stanford Harrell, Joseph T. “Jed” Lykes III, and Dr. Joseph Diaz, DDS. All are Tampa residents and are four of the strongest visionaries in Tampa’s non-profit community. More members are expected to be added before calendar year end.
“A bank’s lasting success stems from its knowledge and understanding of the communities it serves,” said Whitney’s Regional President – Tampa Bay Eric S. Obeck. “We’re proud to have these four civic and business leaders advising us on Hillsborough County. Together, they represent a wide range of groups from many businesses and non-profit organizations. The Whitney can only benefit by their experience and knowledge.”
The Hillsborough County Advisory Board was created to help keep the Whitney apprised of development and business opportunities in the Tampa region. As Obeck noted, each of the new members has deep roots in their communities.
